What's New with Everybody Games, 2020

Hello, fans of Everybody Games!

It’s been way too long since we used this blog to communicate what’s new with Everybody Games, so we’re going to try and rectify that. New year, new Everybody Games! I (Alex) don’t really have a blog schedule in mind yet, but it’s something I actively what to work on improving because Everybody Games has got some pretty cool projects that we’re working on for the new decade, and it’s my pleasure to announce both of them to you here:

The Advanced Occult Guide and the Eversaga Roleplaying Game!

Coming early February 2020, Everybody Games is going to be launching a Kickstarter for our next big print book—the Advanced Occult Guide. Fans have been asking us to do this project for a while, Endzeitgeist literally asks us once or two per Occult Skill Guide issue, and that’s the skeleton of what this project is. It’s the compilation and expansion of our Occult Skill Guide series that you’ve been craving, plus extra.

What ELSE could be in this book, you ask? There' will be plenty of time to talk about that in the coming weeks, but here’s a small taste:

  • Two new classes (Elementian / Shapeshifter), plus a completely refurbished Zoomer class.

  • New rituals.

  • New corruptions.

  • New equipment.

  • Monster stats for several of the templated monsters we’ve done in our Occult Skill Guides.

  • TONS of stretch goals that add on to the base book.

Based on current projections, the Advanced Occult Guide is about 228 Pages long, but we’re hoping to grow it into something MUCH larger with the help of fans who back our project. Alex’s ideal version of the Occult Skill Guide has a total of 36 rituals, 36 corruptions, 36 spirits, and 36 monsters. Can we get there? We’ll just have to wait and see!

For about 3 years, Everybody Games’s publisher Alex Augunas has been working on an entirely new d20 Tabletop Roleplaying Game system for Everybody Games. He’s talked about it a little bit in his role on the Know Direction Network and in a few other places, such as a forthcoming Intrepid Heroes Podcast episode featuring Alex. This year, we’re ready to talk more about it.

The Eversaga Roleplaying Game is a d20 tabletop RPG designed to allow players to portray the high adventures and everyday dramas of extraordinary individuals living on Terros, a planet experiencing a technological and cultural revolution after an apocalyptic event caused small pieces of reality called barge worlds to suddenly appear across the planet. The game takes a modern, player-first approach to Tabletop RPG design while also building upon Everybody Games’s most popular products, such as the Advanced Skill Guide, the Skill Challenge Handbook, Ultimate Charisma, and more.

We have more detailed information about the project at a dedicated Everybody Games page to the product here, If you want to stay fully on top of our project, however, consider pledging to our new Eversaga RPG Patreon. Turns out that designing a new game is expensive (especially art-wise) and we could use all the help we can get in making this project a reality!

More On the Horizon!

Of course, these projects are both long-term projects. In the meantime, we’ll be introducing all-new products each week for you same as always. We look forward to the new year and the exciting new stories we’ll help you create!
